The Smugglers at The Queen’s Head is a nod to Cullercoats folklore—Captain Tommy Armstrong, the Smuggler King, and the tunnels in the cliffs. We’ve turned that tale into a warm, modern harbour for good food, easy company, and a touch of mischief.

Our galley serves coastal comfort from brunch to Sunday roasts, with a Mini Sailors menu for the little crew. At the bar, expect well-kept cask, classic cocktails, and relaxed service. Come in for a pint, stay for a story.
